My Palatial Night At The Palace

I was so excited 2 nights before the concert I could not sleep. The night before the concert I had to take medicine to sleep. My excitement was out of control. The entire day of the concert my body was humming with it! Finally! The day I had been waiting for had arrived. My sign was complete. My t-shirt and shoes were done. My shirt was hot pink and said: Steven Tyler Walk This Way. The "y" in way ended with an arrow point down. My flip flops had a small wedge heel to it, so with glitter glue I wrote: I <3 Steven Tyler. I was ready to ROCK! After prepping myself so I'd be perfect for Steven if he some how saw my sign and pulled me on stage, we left. And that's when the trouble started. We were on 23 when the car started to over heat. I had to shut off the air conditioning and roll down the windows. That wouldn't have been too bad if it wasn't over 90 outside! And there were a bunch of back-ups due to rush hour traffic. So there went my rocked out hair! And as it was so hot I began to sweat. I was so upset, but the radio began playing Aerosmith songs and my spirit picked up. After a few nerve wracking hours on backed up highways we were there! My BFF Jenny called and it turned out she was on her way to the concert. Charlie came through and they were able to go. They weren't going to be able to sit with us, but I was so excited that we were going to be there together. Since we got there before they did, we got them tickets so they could get the best seats possible and it turned out that they were pretty darn good!
Our seats were on the floor. We were right at the end of a stairway and right by the security guy, Bummer. No sneaking up farther for us. It also didn't help that the seats were all attached. Major bummer. We checked out our seats. Met up with Jenny and Charlie for a bit and then we were ready to settle in for the show. While we waited for Aerosmith to start Jenny and I located each other in the crowd. They began playing that Hot In Here song and I groaned in disgust. I looked over at Jenny and I saw her standing and staring wildly at the stage. I immediately jumped up and did not sit back down for more than hours after that. The Bad Boys of Boston were on stage. They were hidden behind the massive Aerosmith curtain, but you could tell they were behind it. They opened up with Eat the Rich, one of Jenny and I's favorites. It was almost as if Steven knew how much we loved it. ;) I held up my giant sign the second the curtain dropped. It said: Steven Tyler! Just give me a KISS! I fear that he did not see it, though Jenny believes she saw him point at me while I was holding up the sign. Every time Steven looked in my direction I flew up my sign. There were 2 awesome ladies behind me that we were just rocking out, having a blast. They were totally all for me holding up my sign and getting on stage some how. So, Steven was looking right in my direction so I flew up onto my chair and held up my sign with all I had and then, to my immense disappointment the security man came up and told me to put away the sign, that I was not allowed to do that and that people were complaining. I was pretty sad. I almost cried. I held up that sign so Steven would see it and I didn't think he had seen it yet and they robbed of my chance of Steven seeing my sign. It took me a few songs to compose myself. The lady behind me told me to go get him. I thought she was talking about the guy in front of me. I said, "Him? In the white shirt?" Her response, "NO! HIIIM!!!" Pointing to Steven. She wanted to me to blow through the crowd. I just couldn't do it. I was too afraid of getting kicked out. I bought a disposable camera at the concert and I started taking a bunch of pictures. They did a great job. Joey did an awesome drum solo. He owned that drum set like I have never seen! It was wicked when Steven came out and joined in. I was so impressed with Aerosmith. 40 years and they can still rock the roof right off the Palace.
I screamed my lungs out. I waved my arms and I ROCKED THE FUCK OUT! I had a blast. Steven Tyler looked so amazing in his silver outfit. His silver pants were so tight and so sexy. I just wanted to rip them right off of him. Right there on stage in front of thousands of people. I don't even care. He is so hot that I lose myself completely and all I can think about is him and how amazing he is. I love Steven Tyler. He is the love of my life and I have to meet him some how. I cannot wait for them to go on tour again. I cannot wait to see them. Because the next time I willbuy the special meet and greet with Steven Tyler and the front row seats. I have to.
Thank you for the bad ass show guys!
